TV20 Cleveland, the City of Cleveland's 24-hour official cable channel. 

Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

TV20 Cleveland, the City of Cleveland's official cable channel, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated students for our Summer Internship Program. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about media production, public relations, and storytelling in the heart of a dynamic urban environment. Interns will gain hands-on experience in broadcasting, video production, and digital media, contributing to content that informs, educates, and engages the Cleveland community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with video production, including filming, editing, and post-production tasks.
  • Support the creation of news segments, special programs, and public service announcements.
  • Participate in live event coverage, including city meetings, community events, and press conferences.
  • Collaborate with the production team to develop creative content ideas.
  • Conduct research and prepare materials for on-air segments.
  • Manage and curate content for social media platforms to enhance community engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program (preferably in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, or related fields).
  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Passion for storytelling and a desire to serve the Cleveland community

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program. 

Note: International students are eligible for employment with on-campus/ internal Tri-C departments only.
