Internship Opportunities

Job Description:

The name of my company is ASC Executive Group, LLC. We are a full service sports agency based out of Pittsburgh, PA. I am looking for competent and intelligent interns. These individuals would have several duties. But, we will delegate the responsibilities such that the tasks will not be voluminous. Additionally, we try to differentiate the internships such that each intern can have a clear understanding of what we are looking for. However, some task bleed over. I am looking for 3 or 4 interns. The hours are flexible and they are not expected to do the work onsite. Instead, we give the interns great freedom and flexibility.

NFL Intern

They would be required to do research for athletes who are draft eligible, as well as athletes who are NFL free agents, and under NFL contracts. There will be frequent interaction with NFL pro personnel and NFL players and other representatives. Keep in mind that some of this work can be tedious. (For example, the athlete would be expected to be in communication with director of player personnel from each NFL team.)

Coaches Intern

These interns would also work with coaches for representation purposes. The coaches would be from NFL, NCAA ( division I, II, III), etc. They would help with documentation, employment opportunities, and educational opportunities and NCAA rules. These interns would be able to interact with Athletic Directors and various coaches and players on an assortment of issues. They would have direct communication with the athletes and would have the opportunity to attend the annual AFCA convention in Indianapolis. This internship is fluid because the coaches determine what they need and want us to do for them in addition to the natural services that we provide on a monthly basis.

Social Media Intern & Marketing

This intern would work with social media in helping to maintain  and promote various clients through the media. Additionally, they would be expected to help promote our company through social media as well. We would expect them be knowledgeable with mainstream social media. Additionally, this intern would be expected to be able to interview prominent athletes, trainers, and draft articles that we would then place on our social media sites, etc.

Finally, many of the interns would be working with other sports agencies that our company is connected to in order to help represent any shared clients. The internship is unpaid.
