Marketing Content Intern

Now, Pod Plug is launching Plugged In, our dynamic new internship program, and we’re looking for creative, ambitious individuals ready to elevate nightlife through powerful digital content. If you’re passionate about social media, have an eye for viral trends, and want hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup, this is the role for you.

 

About the Role: 

As a Marketing Content Intern, you’ll be at the forefront of Pod Plug’s digital storytelling, capturing high-energy content that brings our brand to life across social media platforms. You’ll play a key role in creating and editing photos and videos, developing User-Generated Content (UGC), and trend-jacking viral moments to grow our online presence. Based in Dallas, TX and/or Los Angeles, CA, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in nightlife settings and loves crafting content that resonates with partygoers and nightlife enthusiasts.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos at Pod Plug locations and nightlife events.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of engaging social media content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Develop and curate User-Generated Content (UGC) that showcases real experiences with Pod Plug products.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends and create content that taps into viral moments.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, produce, and publish trend-driven vertical video content.
  • Organize and manage Pod Plug’s digital content library.
  • Participate in content planning and strategy meetings to refine brand messaging.

 

Who You Are:

  • A college sophomore or junior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Passionate about social media, nightlife, and content creation.
  • Proficient in using Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter for brand storytelling.
  • Basic knowledge of photo and video editing software (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro).
  • A creative thinker with an eye for detail and a knack for engaging, viral content.
  • Able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Open to occasional evening or weekend events to capture live content.
