Love Unlimited Church Internship Program – Multiple Opportunities
The Love Unlimited Church (LU) Internship Program seeks to invited fresh perspectives, creativity, and utilize everything you’ve learned in the classroom to work. With an internship program that spans all major departments and business functions, the Church provides more than an opportunity to put another line on your resume—it’s an opportunity to get your feet wet and really put your skills to the test. Currently, LU offers internships year-round:


Fall Cohort: September–December
Winter/Spring Cohort: January–April
Summer Cohort: May–August

 

We’re looking for recent college graduates or students who are enrolled in an accredited college program. Take this opportunity to use your skills, abilities, and ideas in a work environment unlike any other. Currently, we are hosting internships in the areas of Music (musicians & vocalists), Social Media/Web, Administrative, Video & Photography.
 

Musician Internship

At Love Unlimited (LU), we're passionate about music engagement and how it inspires faith believers. We are constantly looking for musicians who are inspired by what they do and want to share it with those around them.

No need to have previous job experience. You bring the passion, stage presence and devotion and we’ll equip you with everything you need to usher praise and worship for our church community.

Send us a video of yourself playing in a performance that best shows off your chops, along with a little background on yourself and why we should consider you as a LU Musician.

Responsibilities

  • Play music at assigned services of worship
  • Conduct music for special services of worship
  • The applicant shall arrive for all services no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the service
  • The applicant shall meet with department staff for operation meetings at least monthly and provide a written and verbal account of work
  • The applicant shall possess the ability to develop rapport, and promote teambuilding within the church choirs, praise teams, and/or other choral groups
  • The applicant shall notify staff by telephone and email between 2-3 hours ahead of scheduled time when unable to perform services due to illness, inclement weather, and/or emergencies

Qualifications

  • Progress towards certificate, Associate’s, Bachelor's or advance degree
  • 0-1 years of experience in music
  • Microsoft Office and computer skills preferred
  • Must be able to work in a team environment

 

Vocalists Internship

At Love Unlimited (LU), we're passionate about music engagement and how it inspires faith believers. We are constantly looking for vocalists who are inspired by what they do and want to share it with those around them.

We are seeking passionate and talented vocalists (lead and backup) to join our growing band for year-round performances. While we have previously operated as a one-man band, we are now looking to expand our team with additional vocalists to enhance our online and in-person shows.

No need to have previous job experience. You bring the passion, stage presence and devotion and we’ll equip you with everything you need to usher praise and worship for our church community.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vocal exercises to maintain and enhance vocal quality and range.
  • Collaborate with music directors and other musicians to develop and refine vocal arrangements.
  • Participate in rehearsals, ensuring timely attendance and preparation.
  • Deliver engaging performances as lead or backup vocalist, adapting to various musical styles.
  • Provide feedback and support to fellow vocalists to foster a positive team environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve vocal skills.

Requirements

  • Strong vocal abilities and stage presence, both online and in-person
  • Ability to sing in a variety of Christian/Gospel songs and styles
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Willingness to travel for in-person performances

Social Media Internship

Love Unlimited (LU) is looking for Social Media Interns to join our team and help manage our clients' social media accounts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for social media, and an understanding of the latest trends in the industry. The Social Media Intern will be responsible for creating engaging content, responding to customer inquiries, monitoring analytics, and developing strategies to increase engagement and reach.

Responsibilities

  • The Social Media Intern will be responsible for creating engaging content, responding to customer inquiries, monitoring analytics, and developing strategies to increase engagement and reach
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics
  • Develop content calendars and post content on social media platforms
  • Assist in the development of social media campaigns and strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media
  • Engage with followers on social media platforms
  • Create engaging visuals for social media posts
  • Research and monitor competitors’ social media accounts
  • Grow clients' social media platforms
  • Put together content for posts, reels, and stories

Administrative Internship

In Love Unlimited (LU) Executive Administrative Assistant (EAA) internship program, you will support the Senior Executive(s) and multiple Executives. Has broad knowledge of the organization, processes and networking to get things done. Assignments are broad, complex and varied in nature. May include responsibilities that extend to external partners. The EAA provides solutions to non-routine problems of a more moderate scope and complexity. Demonstrates independent thinking, adaptability, judgment and problem solving skills are key.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule complex meetings and maintain multiple calendars
  • Exercise independent judgement in managing ambiguous tasks with minimal input from staff
  • Complete various assignments as requested with minimal supervision 
  • Make domestic and international travel arrangements, including any visas, passports, etc.
  • Respond to requests for meeting availability 
  • Organize and streamline executives’ time by assuming administrative details 
  • Be a strong voice of confidence when representing Executives 
  • Expedite handling of correspondence, mail requests and phone calls 
  • Improve efficiencies of day to day tasks where possible 
  • Maintain records, confidential files and specific reports 
  • Coordinate a system for managing office routine

Qualifications

  • Progress towards certificate, Associate’s, Bachelor's or advance degree
  • 0-1 years of experience in Business Administration
  • Microsoft Office and computer skills preferred
  • Must be able to work in a team environment

 

Video & Photography Internship

For Love Unlimited (LU) internship program, we are seeking a creative and ambitious self-starter with a passion for photography or video to capture moments on film and to use images to tell a story. The successful candidate will work with our editorial team to manage photo shoots or video sessions on assignment for the church.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule shoots per assignment with respect to deadline, your schedule, and subjects schedule
  • Use creativity to capture a variety of shots while maintaining brand standards
  • Capture and process images until you achieve desired results
  • Constantly improve image quality using various editing methods
  • Use and maintain modern and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses etc)
  • Direct participants
  • Archive photographic images and maintain database
  • Maintain an in depth understanding of photographic best practices and procedures

Skills

  • Proficient with traditional and modern equipment
  • Solid knowledge of photography editing software
  • Shooting, lighting and editing skills
  • Competency in applying photographic best practices and techniques
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks

Qualifications

  • Progress towards certificate, Associate’s, Bachelor's or advance degree
  • 0-1 years of experience in Media
  • Microsoft Office and computer skills preferred
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
