Marketing intern

Job Overview:  

We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing intern (Part-time/full-time) to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to creatively promote our company across various channels. This position is in person at the Fairfax, Virginia office. 
 

Responsibilities: 
 

Develop Marketing Strategies: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with NextgenID’s target audience. 

Content Creation: Produce engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, blogs, emails, and website, to attract and retain customers. 

Social Media Management: Manage and grow our social media presence by creating and curating relevant content, engaging with followers, and analyzing social media metrics to optimize performance. 

Email Marketing: Plan, execute, and analyze email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, drive conversions, and increase customer retention. 

Digital Advertising: Assist in the creation and management of digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and LinkedIn. 

Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using analytics tools to track key metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. 

Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials, maintaining a strong brand identity that resonates with our target audience. 

Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and make data-driven marketing decisions. 
 

Qualifications: 
 

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). 

Proven experience in marketing, preferably in a similar role. 

Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing platforms). 

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. 

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. 

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. 

Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
