BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide support for programs and services provided by the staff of Orientation, including the performance of routine clerical work, the maintenance of confidential information, and other related tasks as requested.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Answers frequent incoming calls and e-mails concerning orientation
· Oversee and assist with the preparation of orientation binders, folders, and orientation advising materials
· Processes registrations received by phone or via e-mail
· Assists with check-in on the first day of each session
· Handles requests for session changes
· Assists with the maintenance of the Orientation Program Assistant handbook of procedures
· Conducts oneself, particularly when performing job-related functions, in a manner that reflects positively on Northern Michigan University
· Performs other duties as deemed appropriate by the orientation administrative assistant and/or Director
Approximate Hours Needed:
Monday: 9-12
Tuesday: 8-10, 1-5
Wednesday: 9-1
Friday: 8-5

Hourly Wage: $10.56 (min) with an increase each semester
