Molded Press-Set Up Operator
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
· Ability to perform all machine set-ups and operating functions on all molded brush presses and mixing equipment at an expert level
· Ability to independently perform all mixing and baking operations on established and new/experimental grades
· Ability to work with R&D personnel to identify alternative options and processes for achieving optimal grades
· Ability to train and monitor all Molded Brush Operator I and IIs on the operation and set up of department equipment
· Ability to proactively obtain materials and supplies from Hardware or Plate stock to maintain efficient production levels
· Ability to operate and program all furnaces
· Ability to perform other responsibilities as needed or required
· Ability to perform full chemical treatment processes to complete the C-oil, l-Treat, D-Treat, 2-treat, and
HT treatment

Education and/or Experience
- Four years of high school or vocational school or equivalent is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing environment
- A minimum of 6 years experience operating various presses and/or machines or equivalent demonstration of skills and abilities
- A minimum of 4 years of experience performing machine set-ups on various equipment
- Ability to work with and mix various basic chemicals in a safe and efficient manner to treat carbon products
