2025 Nemours Summer Undergraduate Research Program

Welcome to the 2025 Summer Research at Nemours application for the Nemours Summer Undergraduate Research Program (NSURP). Please take a few minutes to read the instructions below prior to beginning the application.

The 2025 paid program ($6,000) begins on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 and ends on Friday, August 1, 2025. In-person attendance is required throughout the entirety of the 10-week (40 hrs/wk), full-time program. Personal vacation time is not allowed during the 10 weeks. The program will include both live and virtual components based on the program being held at multiple sites.
The application deadline is Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM EST. Application decisions will be made in mid-March 2025. You will be contacted via email regarding acceptance decisions.
The projects for the 2025 program are based in three locations: Wilmington, DE; Jacksonville, FL; and Orlando, FL. Each project abstract specifies the location of the project. Keep this in mind as you rank your top projects in the application.
Materials Needed (all documents must be in pdf, jpg, or tif format):
1. Contact information for 2-3 letters of recommendation. Be sure to ask your recommenders first if they are willing to write you a letter. When you submit your application, an email will be automatically generated on your behalf and sent to your recommender with instructions on how to submit a recommendation for you. Verify with your recommender that they have received this email! If we do not receive all letters of recommendation by Friday, January 31, 2025, your application will be incomplete and will subsequently be removed from consideration. No extensions will be granted, even if the delay is on the part of the recommender.
2. Recent transcripts (official or unofficial as long as they are legible and complete)
3. Current resume
4. (Optional): Additional files to share with the selection committee
Eligibility Requirements:
1. United States citizen or legal permanent resident
2. Enrollment as an undergraduate student at the time of application
3. Minimum college GPA of 3.2 (4.0 scale)
** Students who were selected and participated in past NSURP programs are ineligible to apply **
