IT Operations and Support Technician Intern

Key Responsibilities
Help Desk Support
Provide friendly and professional troubleshooting assistance for end-users.
Resolve issues related to IP phones, computers, printers, and other peripherals.
Offer guidance on common Microsoft Suite and Azure AD issues.
Technical Maintenance
Perform general IT maintenance tasks, including RAID checks, backups, and software updates.
Manage and document configuration backups.
Research vulnerabilities (CVEs) and assist in implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Project Assistance
Document IT procedures for internal reference.
Assist in emergency operations planning and disaster recovery processes.
Support the decommissioning of outdated equipment.
Learning Opportunities
Interns will receive training and gain hands-on experience in:
Subnetting and multi-VLAN network management.
Cybersecurity practices, including vulnerability management and risk assessment.
IT policy development and adherence to industry best practices.
Qualifications
Strong work ethic with a helpful and friendly attitude.
Basic technical knowledge equivalent to CompTIA A+ certification.
Familiarity with subnetting, Microsoft Suite, and Azure AD.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues.
Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
