Internship Overview:

You’ll gain hands-on experience, build valuable workforce skills, and make meaningful connections with local companies, startups, and the community—all while having fun and making a positive impact.

About the Role:

Depending on one's background, experience, interest and role, an intern can expect to...

Perform Hands-On Robotics: Get practical experience with NBRR’s tools, systems and projects including metal forming, sand casting, vision systems, design challenges, large-scale 3D printing, microcontrollers, soldering, ROVs, fabrication and industrial 6-axis robotic arms.

Engage & Educate: Help facilitate NBRR’s STEA3M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts-Accessibility-Applied, Mathematics) education programs for youth in the community. 

Use Software Skills: Learn and apply design software like Rhino CAD with Grasshopper (GH) in real-world projects. Or, use vision computer systems to develop AI algorithms for improving research and performing analytics.

Grow Your Network: Assist local startups, corporations, team members and partners to get involved and realize a vision.

Promote: Help our non-profit NBRR grow by expanding our brand through marketing and social media.
