DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will complete audit engagements assigned by your supervisor such as agreed-upon-procedures, performance audits, and financial audits conducted in accordance with Government Auditing Standards both individually and as a contributing member of a team. The duties of this position involve developing a working knowledge of PLCB functions, auditing, and office techniques; travelling to assignment site locations to interview staff, obtain evidence, and perform other fieldwork; and actively communicating with the supervisor or auditor-in-charge. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Alternate Work Schedules (AWS) available upon completion of the probationary period.
- This position is home based but will require field travel.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) when not engaged in required field travel. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Plymouth Meeting.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of accounting and/or auditing experience; and fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting; or
- One year of experience as a Financial Programs Trainee; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which includes fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting and auditing.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of a valid Driver's license.

- Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, or Bucks counties. If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
