Internship for International Students - CPT - CollegeBushido - a Lifebushido startup venture

We are seeking 5-10 international students for a non-paid CPT internship with CollegeBushido.

See www.collegebushido.com.  Our internships are 5-10 hours per week for 1-3 months. 

We will work with your college to complete all US government and college forms needed to get your internship approved, including interactions with professors as needed for possible course credit.

Our first project will be to help college students to stop scrolling negative social media and start living by doing something positive for one hour daily in a small group of 3-9 people.  Stop Scrolling - Start Living has already been tested and helped over 100+ people to stop scrolling.  You will experience and try Stop Scrolling and CollegeBushido for 10 minutes daily for 10 days.

Internship Description and Roles

Our goal is to help you as an international student to learn about the American work environment, communication standards, technology platforms, collaboration styles, and startup culture.

If you are selected from the 1 hour interview process, you start with a 10 hour internship test project which takes 10 days.  We then do a second interview and if a mutual fit, we then decide on 5 or 10 hours per week and the duration and focus of the internship and complete college and US government forms as needed to formally start the internship.    

We are open to all majors, but we have specific interests in the following:

  • Marketing and Business:  Help with marketing awareness about Stop Scrolling project to invite students to complete phone usage surveys and try the 10 day group challenge. Roles include marketing, onboarding, operations, customer service.
  • Psychology:  Psychology students needed to improve and tune the systems to help students to Stop Scrolling and to help lead small circles of 6-9 students.
  • AI/Computer/Data Science:  Students with coding, AI, and data science backgrounds will help create quick prototypes to get 1,000 students per school to complete surveys on phone usage and scrolling and group into circles of 6-9 people for CollegeBushido.

Students are encouraged to work as a group team of three students in a CollegeBushido Triangle.  You can bring your friends and start as a Triangle, or we will match you with people from your school or other schools.
