The ideal candidate for this position has experience in (or a desire to learn) technical highway engineering.
Highway engineering may include (but is not limited to) highway design; bridge; geotechnical; survey and mapping; hydraulics; or materials testing.
Additionally, the ideal candidate can work independently and in a team environment.
Some engineering positions require travel to remote locations for extended periods of time.
