Duties

• As Supervisory IT Program Manager, incumbent exercises delegated authority to carry out assigned program functions and services responsible for program management and supervision of subordinate application development supervisors and team members.
• Responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing the activities of subordinate supervisors, employees involved in the definition, design, development, documentation, testing, and integration of automated information system requirements for assigned Automated Information Systems (AISs).
• Participates in the management of the organization proving recommendations to senior J62 leaders, providing authoritative advice and guidance.
• Oversee the integration of application systems within J6 and DLA infrastructure ensuring efficient integration capabilities permitting interoperability with standard and non-standard applications managed by Department of Defense (DoD) components, civilian agencies and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries.
• Exercises a range of supervisory authorities and responsibilities over a staff of personnel requiring extensive technical expertise.
• Directs a variety of complex assignments for all business systems/applications programs establishing and approving detailed planning design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation.
