Web Developer Intern

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working on projects that directly support our mission. You will collaborate with our team to create, improve, and maintain our web platforms and enhance the online user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and websites.
  • Collaborate with designers and content creators to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Test and debug websites to ensure functionality and performance across various devices and browsers.
  • Implement updates, improvements, and new features based on team feedback.
  • Support integrations with third-party tools and platforms.
  • Participate in team meetings to provide input and brainstorm ideas for web solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with web development tools and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, React, or similar).
  • Passion for learning new technologies and improving technical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred:

  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Basic understanding of back-end technologies (e.g., PHP, Python, or Node.js).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace).
  • Awareness of web accessibility and SEO best practices.
