If yes, you could be a great fit as a Materials Engineering Intern at Henkel, where you will work with Product Development and Process Engineering to optimize materials and processes for best-in-class, novel thermal interface materials. You will support activities such as process development, qualification testing, customer sampling, and data collection activities.

 
You can expect your internship to include assignments like: 

  • Assisting in the design, development, and testing of advanced materials for high end thermal management products
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate materials into our products  
  • Conducting research and analysis to identify new materials and technologies 
  • Supporting materials testing and characterization activities  
  • Supporting customers through sample creation and data collection
  • Exploring emerging trends and recommend new material incorporation into product development 

Following your internship, you may be invited to join Henkel as a full-time employee in the future. 

 

YOUR SKILLS 

  • A current undergraduate student planning to graduate in December 2025, 2026, or 2027 and majoring in chemical or materials engineering
  • Experience with processing and testing materials (preferred)
  • Experience handling chemical compounds, polymer resins and fillers safely according to established required procedures
