Junior Architect

Join the AIA Firm of the Year 2022- DIG Architecture team as a Junior Architect!

Candidate information:

Actively seeking licensure preferred

Bachelor or Master’s degree from Accredited Program

Work as part of a team

Reports to PA or above

Also known as a Job Captain-(Level III)

Administrative Tasks:

·        Maintain project drawing files (multiple projects at the same time)

·        Comply with internal project budgets and schedule (team hours)

·        Ability to utilize computer software programs: word, excel, power point, photoshop, Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up etc.

Technical Skills/Expertise:

·        Perform and document existing conditions survey work (as-builts) on CAD and BIM

·        Assist in development and production of design schemes for client presentations

·        Prepare 3-d images for presentations

·        Drafting of construction documents, development of permit drawing set

·        Familiarity with materials, construction techniques, code compliance, detailing

·        Familiarity to understand the impact of consultant work on architecture
