Photographer Intern

The Wausau Woodchucks and Wausau Softball Club are seeking a qualified individual to serve as a member of our Content Team as the Photographer Intern. 

 

Responsibilities Include:
-        Taking numerous action photos of each player throughout the season 

-        Headshots of each player and coach 

-        Photographing the following regularly Pre-game events, Game-day sponsors, Giveaways, First Pitch, Signage, National Anthem Singer, On-Field Promotions, Hospitality Areas, Specific Group Outings, Game Day Experience, Athletic Park. 

-        Edits, uploads, and labels photos.

-        Takes photos at community events. 

-        Creates a photographic history of the season at the Athletic Park. 

-        Work with the Host Family Coordinator to take photos and contact host families.

·        Assist with stadium set-up and clean up before and after each home game and event

·        Preseason stadium maintenance and cleaning

·        Postseason stadium maintenance and cleaning

·        All other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

·        Must be a current college student (undergraduate or graduate)
·        Preferably pursuing a degree in photography, graphic design, or digital marketing
·        Knowledge of video techniques, including camera positioning, lighting, etc.

·        A personal camera to shoot photos and video (a plus). 

·        Must be comfortable interacting and being in front of fans.

·        Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Lightroom)

·        Requires ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
·        Includes occasional office hours per week

·        Have an enthusiastic, positive attitude and provide a strong effort to succeed 

·        Must be a creative thinker and do well in a fast-paced environment 

·        Ability to problem solve 

·        Comfortable interacting with all levels within organization as well as outside contacts

·        Strong time management and attention to details

·        Familiar with Microsoft Office and possess excellent written and oral communication skills

·        Cooperation, responsiveness, dependability, and proper attitude in dealing with others including co-workers and customers
