Job Title: Intern: Marketing – Graphic Design

Reports To: Director of Customer Experience
SUMMARY: This internship will create visually engaging content to support marketing initiatives, enhance brand awareness, and communicate effectively with both internal and external audiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties are representative of those required for this position. All of the duties may not be required, and additional duties may be assigned.
- Collaborates with copywriter in bringing content to life with appealing graphic design elements.
- Collaborates with marketing staff to develop graphic elements for insurance producers.
- Regularly develops and produces content for social media purposes.
- Assists with special projects and fundraisers coordinated by the marketing department.
- Builds awareness of products and services through graphics for internal and external customers.
- Builds collateral for internal and external customers.
- Attends and assists with necessary meetings and company functions.
- Some day-travel and light overnight travel may be associated with certain assignments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Student pursuing a degree in Journalism, Graphic Design or Communications. Minimum of one year of college courses completed. Student must be enrolled in college credits during the semester in which the internship occurs, or be enrolled in college credit hours during the following Fall semester.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Graphic design skills are a must.
- Ability to operate a computer and Microsoft Office software.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs.
