Join the Summer Adventure of a Lifetime at Camp Chateaugay, a Sleepaway Camp in the Adirondacks, NY!

Camp Chateaugay is seeking an energetic and passionate Dance Director to lead our summer dance program! As the Dance Director, you will create a fun and inclusive environment where campers can explore various styles of dance, such as hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, ballet, commercial, Tik'Tok dancesand more.

You will design and teach daily dance classes tailored to different skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers. At the end of each session, you'll work with campers to choreograph and perform a showcase for the entire camp. You’ll also supervise a small team of dance instructors, ensuring safe practices and a supportive atmosphere.

Key Dates & Details

• Start Date: June 9th, 2025 (head-staff training begins)
• End Date: August 13th, 2025
• Campers' Ages: 7-17 years old, attending for 7 weeks

What We’re Looking For:

• Enthusiastic, patient, and energetic individuals with dance experience.
• Strong communication, choreography, and mentoring skills.
• The ability to teach a range of dance styles and techniques.
• A passion for working with children and fostering a love for dance.
