Job Title: Intern – Corporate IT, Information Security, Emerging Technologies 

Location: Remote – United States 
Duration: 12 weeks - cohorts starting in May or June (37.5 hours per week)

2025 Summer Intern Program – Corporate IT, Information Security, and Emerging Technologies 
This group is great for students passionate about Corporate IT, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies (AI). The internship includes comprehensive orientation, networking events, career guidance, and collaborative projects. 

Roles and Responsibilities 
Interns will join one of the following teams, completing meaningful projects that align with key business initiatives: 

  • Corporate IT (Data Analyst): Assist in maintaining the internal technology infrastructure of a leading company, contributing to projects that enhance IT operations and improve efficiency. 
  • Information Security: Work directly with analysts and engineers to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber security incidents, implement state-of-the-art security tools and processes, and assist in documenting our multi-cloud computing environment. 
  • Emerging Technologies (Writer): Gain hands-on experience in researching and writing about cutting-edge technologies like AI. You'll monitor news sources and scientific journals to identify relevant emerging technologies and collaborate with the Emerging Tech Team to create informative write-ups for Vertex staff and leadership.  

What We’re Looking For 

  • Current students pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. 
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity, corporate IT, data analytics, or emerging tech research and writing. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively during core business hours on the East Coast (HQ - King of Prussia, PA).
