Hybrid/Telework- Although this is a hybrid opportunity, the successful incumbent must reside within the State of Washington and must be available to report to the Olympia, Washington headquarters building as required. Currently one (1) day in-office per week is required and is subject to change.

Ensure the reliability and efficiency of WDFW’s IT services, with expertise in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and third-party SaaS solutions.
In this role, oversee the end to end support of SaaS applications, including integration, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
By engaging with vendors, optimizing workflows, and enhancing IT systems, you’ll provide staff with secure, reliable tools that drive productivity, safety and streamline processes.
What to Expect-
Among the varied range of responsibilities held within this role you will,
Cloud SaaS Solution Administration:
- Responsible for end-to-end SaaS offering: Research, evaluate, implement, configure, maintain, and administration of SaaS Solutions.
- Provide SaaS end to end support for SaaS offerings from different 3rd party vendors, custom applications build on Power platform and other PaaS. Providing implementation, integration to end of lifecycle for SaaS applications.
- Responsible for onboarding SaaS solution: SSO integration, SOD (Segregation of duties) between IT and Business Unit.
- Follow IGU/PRU data storage and retention requirements for System, software, and hardware.
- Responsible for Vendor license/subscription management, administration of accounts, including user creation/decommissioning within Entra/On-Prem AD and SaaS Solution.
- Asset and License tracking, by performing lifecycle management of SaaS offerings from procurement through decommissioning.
- Configures, maintains plugins and addons for 3rd party SaaS solutions either being requested by customers or being promoted by vendors for implementation.
- Create and maintain product documentation for SaaS Solution which includes Vendor’s contact information, IT POC, BU POC, License management (IT) (assignment and removal from security groups).
- Create and maintain guides and desk manuals for users and tech support related to SaaS applications.
Entra/On-Prem Active Directory and Administration:
- Manage On-Prem Active Directory objects, Role Bases Access Control (RBAC), system rights of folders & file security of the enterprise file server system.
- Responsible for Single-Sign-On (SSO) integration and implementation.
- Create and manage Entra Active Directory Groups for Cloud Application permissions or other SaaS Service Access.
- Responsible for monitoring, creating, deleting, and managing various types of accounts and security groups, including user accounts, service accounts, 3rd party user accounts, and resource groups.
Collaboration Administration: Microsoft 365 Apps and Power Platform:
- Provide system administration of the Agency Microsoft 365 environment.
- Create, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 components within OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint site collections, and perform back-end support as well infrastructure administration.
Policy, Procedure, and Training Administration:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of ITS systems administration policy and procedures.
Working Conditions:
Work Setting, including hazards: Office environment as required. Hybrid Telework options possible. Currently one (1) day in-office per week is required and is subject to change.
Schedule: Typically, Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Hours may be adjusted at the discretion of the supervisor. Occasional off-hours work may be required.
Travel Requirements: Travel may be required in some circumstances
Customer Relations: Deal directly with end user support staff, WDFW employees and external vendors.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT related field.
AND
Four (4) years of recent experience with Enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) as a system administrator in a medium to large organization
Including two (2) years of experience in each of the following:
- Administering and troubleshooting:
- Cloud/SaaS applications
- Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
- Entra ID Administration
- This experience may be concurrent with the required four (4) years of experience noted above.
OR
Eight (8) years of recent IT experience (within the last 10 years) with experience in Enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS) as a system administrator in a medium to large organization.
Including two (2) years of experience in each of the following:
- Administering and troubleshooting:
- Cloud/SaaS applications
- Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive
- Entra ID Administration
- This experience may be concurrent with the required eight (8) years of experience noted above.
Special Requirements/Conditions of Employment:
Basic background check and fingerprinting are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the required qualifications, our ideal applicant will possess some or all the following:
- Experience administering Enterprise SaaS Solutions, Microsoft365 and Power Platform, Entra and On-Prem Active Directory management, and Powershell scripting.
- Communications or Computer related associate degree from an accredited college.
- Basic network troubleshooting skills, knowledgeable in network security.
