State Park Intern - Pymatuning State Park (College)

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will assist team members with the scheduling, coordination, planning, and implementation of various educational programs. Your role will also include creating promotional materials for these programs and facilitating communication with participants. Your efforts will play a crucial role in the seamless execution and successful promotion of these educational initiatives. By supporting the team in these areas, you will help enhance the overall experience for all involved. This will contribute significantly to the success and impact of the educational offerings.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time internship that will run from 5/1/2025 through 8/29/2025
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position may require to work nights and weekends.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Internship Requirements:
- Current full-time enrollment in a two-year degree, bachelor’s degree or advanced degree program in one of the following majors:
- Environmental Science
- Environmental Studies
- Parks and Recreation
- Education
- An approved major course which includes a qualifying 24 credit hours of study in the physical, biological and environmental sciences may be acceptable.
- Freshman year completed
- Good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher)
- Pennsylvania residency or enrollment at a Pennsylvania college or university
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
