COMMUNICATIONS INTERNSHIP FOR SPRING 2024

The Dulye Leadership Experience (DLE), an international professional development and networking organization, seeks a self-motivated individual to plan, curate, and develop content for promoting programs and our community to internal and external audiences.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Founder, Operations Manager and Committee Members to develop written content about our extraordinary people and programs for a variety of media. This virtual position includes:
- conducting research, scheduling and executing interviews, and writing articles and headlines for a monthly newsletter
- creating content to promote virtual and in-person events for use on the DLE website, email marketing campaigns and social media accounts
- preparing correspondence on behalf of the DLE Founder to engage members and support campaigns
- actively participating in weekly internal team meetings to relay updates, support fellow interns and collaborate on ideas
- participating in committee meetings with DLE leaders and actively contributing ideas to support program planning
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with these core skills:
- writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
- outstanding communication and conversation skills
- driving the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
- creativity in developing promotional content
- ability to be a supportive and reliable team member
- eagerness to collaborate with other interns in different roles
- attentiveness to quality, follow-through and schedule
- positive attitude and a strong interest in working in an entrepreneurial environment
- ability to switch between independent project work and large collaborative group project work
This internship (6-8 hours/week through the spring semester) offers tremendous opportunity to gain real, meaningful hands-on operational experience as well as broaden your marketing, decision-making and communication skills.
You will enhance and expand your portfolio on a weekly basis, as well as have access and the opportunity to meet business leaders and entrepreneurs from the DLE’s international community.
This is a virtual position. A $500 stipend is awarded for the successful completion of the internship. This assignment is not ideal for students planning to study abroad.

About the DLE
Based in the Berkshires of Western MA, the Dulye Leadership Experience (DLE) provides premiere professional development programming to advance rising leaders and entrepreneurs from diverse industries and interests nationwide.
Established in 2008, the organization operated in partnership with Syracuse University through 2016 with a focus on coaching new graduates to successfully transition into the workplace. In 2017, the DLE broadened its mission to coach and connect multi-generational professionals nationwide through year-round, live and virtual learning and networking for career ownership and community engagement.
Since its inception, the DLE’s learning and networking have been available—at no cost—to a fast growing community through the sustained underwriting of Dulye & Co., the management consultancy established in 1998 by DLE Founder and President Linda Dulye. Linda is an alum of Syracuse University, as are many DLE alumni and community members.
