Akron Community Internship:SSM's Reentry Program Intern

South Street Ministries is seeking an intern to help implement their strategic plan by assisting with their Reentry programming.

Project Timeline:

SPRING 2025 | 100 hours | Off-campus

(exact dates TBD to accommodate student schedules)
 Location: This is an off-campus opportunity 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Reentry Meeting Facilitation (Tuesdays 3 - 6 pm).
  • Assist with resource navigation, data entry and reporting, research and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred major in sociology, psychology, political science, criminal justice or similar
  • Interest in nonprofits, leadership development, & civic engagement
