Duties

• Serves as an Information Technology (IT) Cybersecurity Specialist and Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) assigned to the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) J61 Cybersecurity Operations, Vulnerability Management Division, J-614C.
• Supports the senior ISSE with providing enterprise-level information system security engineering and cybersecurity risk assessment support to stakeholders across the organization.
• Delivers enterprise-level information systems security engineering and cybersecurity risk assessment support and provides guidance on security architecture requirements, system hardening, risk mitigation, and cybersecurity practices.
• Identifies the need for changes based on new security technologies or threats.
• Supports the enterprise-level technical evaluation of hardware, software, components, conducts risk analyses, and provides guidance on the security architecture requirements for systems.
• Develops and maintains relationships with organizational staff and internal and external stakeholders to ensure open communication, coordination and deployment of cybersecurity related processes and activities.
