The Vascular Sonographer at National VIP plays a pivotal role in supporting our vein and pain practice across our locations in Maryland.

What you'll do...
• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post-procedure scans.
• Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes into the EMR system.
• Use sterile techniques for procedure setups and prep patients for procedures.
• Assist during procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Care for ultrasound equipment and promptly report any issues.
• Collaborate effectively with co-workers and the healthcare team.

You should have...
• Associate’s degree in medical sonography.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical sonography.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Proficiency in lower extremity/vascular sonography.
• Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.
• RVT or CCI certification preferred.
