The selectee will serve as a "Civil Engineer" responsible for managing and promoting assigned program. The incumbent will provide stewardship and oversight at various junctures of project and program delivery.
The employee's duties will vary between these program areas of Civil Engineering:
- Construction
- Highway Design
- Materials
- Survey
- Planning and Programming
- Bridge Design, Management, and Inspection
- Hydraulics
The ideal candidate for this position is an early to mid-career engineer with experience monitoring Federally funded highway programs or delivering highway projects from initial scoping through construction and maintenance.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will also have experience conveying ideas and concepts in meetings, discussions, and writing.
