Social Media Intern, M&C

Position Type: Federal Work Study Only

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Interns will work with Marketing & Communications to develop social media content – particularly Tik Tok and Instagram reels – to be used on the University’s social platforms throughout the academic year.

This includes: 

• Attending campus events to provide social media coverage.
• Highlighting campus life and showcasing students.
• Following trends and relevant national days to create timely content.
• Assisting with photography.
• Collaborating with MarCom staff and interns on content.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of social media platforms and ability to create and edit videos with cell phone.

 Anticipated Schedule: 

• Weekdays with evenings and some weekends for campus event coverage.
