Email Project Manager

Location: Agoura Hills, CA (Hybrid)
FLSA: Exempt, Full-Time

Who we’re looking for:

The Email Marketing Account Manager will play a key leading role in Rooftop Digital’s Internal Email department and team. The Email Marketing Account Manager will manage the day-to-day marketing needs of a specific partner account, responsibilities range from support and consulting on marketing efforts and campaigns.   • Assist in managing projects from documentation, requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope and schedule
  • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the documentation, scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
  • Act as a liaison between different email mailing accounts, management team, and other internal departments, ensuring effective and timely communication is consistent.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to effectively manage all internal email initiatives and processes
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
  • Assist in monitoring resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
  • Additional responsibilities as requested by management and company needs.

 

Minimum Requirements and Proven Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing and/or Communications preferred; Professional work equivalence will be considered;
  • Must have proven understanding utilizing an Email Service Provide (ESP), for the purpose of sending email campaigns;
  • Proven effective time management and problem solving;
  • Analytical and technical aptitude to perform decision modeling based on email and web analytics;
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams (e.g., IT, Internet Operations, Creative,
  • Analytics);
  • Passionate about digital marketing concepts, practices, and programs supporting a basic to strong understanding of email marketing;
  • Highly analytical with ability to derive meaning through data analysis and reporting;
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills; ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to gain trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical-thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
  • Ability to utilize A|B testing as means to test, optimize, and rapidly improve a Campaign

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in email marketing and/or digital marketing automation;
  • Ability to create, map, and build upon consumer journeys in marketing relevant products and services to consumers;
  • Use Email Service Provider (ESP) platforms to deploy email campaigns; (Examples
  • Include: ExactTarget, Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Responsys, SilverPOP, etc.);
  • Use consumer journeys as an effective marketing tool to effectively engage with consumers on behalf of brands, products and/or services;
  • Experience with Dedicated IP warmup and maintenance with Marketing Cloud
  • (Sales Force Exact Target) is ideal.
