Electronic Communications Administrator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure proper change management procedures are followed regarding the installation and testing of all upgrades and enhancements for email, archive, meeting & messaging systems.
  • Process requests for on-boarding and off-boarding users. This includes Creating or removing Active Directory objects, such as accounts, mailboxes, security & distribution group memberships, etc.
  • Troubleshoot problems with email delivery, mailbox access, email clients and take corrective action on a timely and effective basis.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external users.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, O365, and Azure.
  • Microsoft Exchange experience strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of SMTP, DNS required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows platform.
  • Intermediate understanding of Video Conference applications
  • Intermediate understanding of message applications
  • General network administration skills.
  • Intermediate understanding of network security, protocols.
  • Industry acknowledged certification strongly preferred MCSE/MCSA/RHCE.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE                                

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
