EMS Dispatcher

As a Dispatcher, you will play a key role as the first line of response in both emergency and non-emergency calls.

  • Coordinate the schedule of EMTs and First Responders during emergency and non-emergency transports
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch a high volume of calls, while determining the appropriate level of care
  • Operate various computer systems
  • Conduct outbound calls to customers to provide assistance and support
  • Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations
  • Clean background check
  • Proficient computer skills
