Executive Secretary - The Traffic Group - Baltimore, Maryland

If so, The Traffic Group, a Baltimore-based engineering firm, specializing in traffic engineering and traffic data collection, is hiring an Executive Secretary to join their team in Baltimore, Maryland.

As the Executive Secretary, you’ll be the right hand to the President. You’ll handle a variety of administrative tasks that keep his office, projects and calendar on track, while interacting with a dedicated team of professionals.

WHAT WE OFFER.

  • $60,000 – $70,000 annual starting wage based on your knowledge and experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

  • Manage Schedules & Appointments: Coordinate calendars, set up meetings, and arrange travel.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, edit, and organize reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Support Team Operations: Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications with professionalism, efficiency and warmth.
  • Assist with Project Logistics: Help track project timelines, meeting notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Embrace new responsibilities. Leveraging your unique strengths, you’ll take on tasks that not only bring personal fulfillment but also help optimize the President’s day. This includes cross-training with another office administrator to ensure seamless support.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

  • 2 or more years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you’ll be interacting with everyone from team members to clients.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe PDF, typing dictation, and are open to learning new technology systems.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently while keeping company goals in mind.
  • In-office—this position works in-office; remote work is not available.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening and background check is required.
