Construction Project Manager

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
· Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and oral).
· Working experience with construction project bid documents.
· Solid time-management, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
· Experience providing engineering cost-effective solutions to complex commercial-level construction problems.
· Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction regulations
· Competitive nature and a creative mindset with a strong desire to win.
· Persistence and resolve to obtain responses from vendors and subcontractors.
Project Manager’s Responsibilities Will Include:
· Study and understand scopes of work for sophisticated commercial-level building systems and controls.
· Verify compliance with bid instructions throughout the bid process, obtaining all necessary documentation and submitting a complete bid packet on time.
· Perform quantity take-offs for self-performed work.
· Evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids to confirm the scope of work and materials quoted to meet the bid documents and project requirements.
· Prepare competitive bid packages for a variety of clients.
· Prepare contract startup templates, permits, subcontracts, and PO's.
· Generate a master schedule for projects with input from the VP of Operations and Project Superintendent(s).
· Review and approve subcontractor invoices monthly and prepare owner invoices based on work completed to date.
· Manage projects to completion while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule.
Project Manager’s Qualifications:
· An Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), Building Construction, or Architecture Degree
· 2 -5 years or more of commercial construction experience is strongly preferred
· Ability to pass background and drug screening is REQUIRED
