Marketing Intern

Job Title: Marketing Intern (Part-Time)  

Location: New Orleans-based, hybrid in-office and remote 

Hours: 10 hours/week

Position Overview: We're looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our team for 10 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in marketing, content creation, and technology to gain hands-on experience. You'll support our marketing team with content development, newsletter creation, and basic design tasks while learning about the latest marketing tools and technologies.  

This position is New Orleans-based with the option of working from our office, located in Uptown New Orleans on Magazine Street, or working from home. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Content Creation:  

Assist in drafting blog posts about industry trends and best practices 

Help compile and format weekly newsletter content 

Support content updates for our website and learning platforms 

Create basic written and graphic components for marketing materials 

Marketing Support:  

Help maintain our content library and resources 

Assist with basic graphic design projects using Canva 

Support marketing materials creation and organization 

Aid in occasional event promotion tasks 

Required Qualifications: 

Currently enrolled in college/university 

Strong writing and editing skills 

Basic computer skills; interest in using AI 

Eye for design and excellent attention to detail  

Eagerness to learn 

Ability to commit to 10 hours per week 

Desired Skills (Not Required): 

Experience with content writing 

Familiarity with basic graphic design (Canva)
