Construction Intern
Overview
The Construction Intern will be assisting the Project Manager with the following: identifying potential subcontractors, corresponding with potential subcontractors, subcontracting, RFI requests, updating and circulating RFI logs, preparing submittals, updating submittal logs, material take offs, and other various assigned tasks. Intern will also work and assist Sr. Project Manager(s) with the following: visiting construction sites for progress meetings, attend inspections and pay application meetings, investigate work in place and verify conformance with plans and specifications.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings and documents.
- Must understand and be able to interpret safety laws and company policies/standards.
Education and Experience:
- Must be pursuing a degree in civil engineering, construction management or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and insurance.
