Marketing Intern

Job Summary

The Thousand Lumens Production Intern works closely with all members of the Thousand Lumens team to boost their internal marketing efforts. 

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Help devise and implement branding, sales, and marketing campaigns
  • Help create and implementing you own social media campaigns and strategies
  • Help create content and graphics for marketing.
  • Help create email marketing campaigns and newsletters, including the copy. 
  • Work with marketing and social media tools to perform market research and benchmarking.
  • Create the strategy and launch the Thousand Lumens' TikTok!

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in G Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fast learner with a thirst for fully understanding business marketing concepts
  • Proven ability to successfully prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail kills
  • Must be able to work under pressure and within quick timelines
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Well-developed writing and grammatical skills
  • High sense of responsibility and confidentiality
  • Confidence and enthusiasm when sharing ideas internally
  • Basic Graphic design experience 

 

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Advance Graphic design a plus
  • Social Media management experience 
  • Basic Video Editing skills a plus
  • Copywriting experience is a plus
  • Interest working film production.

 

Required Education:

At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing or Communications or a related field.

Interns must meet eligibility requirements for the Pointers Connect Internship (PCI) program to be hired and receive pay. Requirements include:  currently enrolled at UWSP, Junior or senior status, 2.0 GPA or higher plus one of the following: 1st generation college student; Pell eligible or non-traditional student.
