Job Description:  

This Senior Technician position is responsible for reviewing on-site and closeout documentation of moderate to complex bridge construction projects.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Lending technical guidance to project residents and inspectors regarding contract specifications and documentation of construction inspection
• Providing assistance to residents regarding Contract Modifications, quantity measurements and general documentational requirements 
• Administering documentation training for onsite construction personnel.

This position will communicate with the resident and the contractor during the closeout process to ensure that the documentation for project closeout will adhere to Section 107.9 Project Closeout of the standard specifications.

To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:

Eight (8) years of experience in engineering -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and four (4) years of engineering experience -OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and six (6) years of experience in engineering.
