Note: In-person interviews will be conducted on Feb. 28, 2025, at West and Metro. These interview fairs are your only opportunity to meet and interview with hiring supervisors.

Do you have a passion for writing and communication? Are you eager to gain experience in a fast-paced environment? If so, then our Communications Specialist Internship is the perfect opportunity for you!

Reaching Heights is looking for a highly motivated and creative intern to join our team. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with content creation for various communication channels, including press releases, website copy, and social media posts.
  • Conduct research and gather information to support the development of communication materials.
  • Monitor social media trends and engage with our audience online.
  • Assist with planning and executing communication campaigns.
  • Support with event logistics and media outreach (as applicable).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Teams, Google Workplace, Canva, Wix, Squarespace
  • Experience with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to take on new challenges.

Program Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in current semester (Spring 2025)
  • Must enroll in a minimum of one Summer 2025 course
  • Must be returning to Tri-C for Fall 2025 Semester
  • Must have a declared major on record

This position is part of the Cuyahoga Community College Summer Internship Program. 

Note: International students are eligible for employment with on-campus/ internal Tri-C departments only.
