Marketing Designer

We are seeking a Marketing Designer to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely. The Marketing Designer is responsible for the graphic design support for properties nationwide, including the operating portfolio and re/development portfolio. The Marketing Designer provides proactive design support to the property marketing team, incorporating effective communication and analytical thinking to achieve the shopping center's merchandising, occupancy, and Fresh Look goals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide graphic design support for B2B marketing materials that effectively communicate the value or selling points of a center to retailers, tenants, brokers, community groups, landowners, city officials and other audiences, as directed by Marketing Manager
- Provide graphic design support for B2C promotional materials as needed
- Assist with designing and maintaining a suite of templated collateral that support B:B and B:C marketing and communication efforts
- Ability to interpret and incorporate Market Research data and tools with the goal of increasing effectiveness of marketing collateral
- Generate unique ideas and identify new design concepts to support special projects as needed
- Provide analytical thinking and proactive suggestions to clearly define and effectively communicate the value or unique selling proposition of a center throughout all marketing materials
- Special projects support as needed for overall marketing department, which could include vacancy graphics, email campaigns, branding and logo development, center signage, website updates, social and digital media graphics for B:B and B:C and more
Are You Qualified?
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design (preferred) marketing, advertising, or related field from an accredited institution
- One to three (1 – 3) years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of web design basics
- Proven experience in designing content for social media networks such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube
- Proven experience with designing brochures, email templates and sales fliers
- Experience with implementing brand standards throughout a variety of design collateral
- Professional training and intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
Preferred:
- Three to five (3 – 5) years of relevant experience a plus
- Previous experience with commercial real estate preferred
- Preferred intermediate proficiency with CRM tools (Hubspot preferred)
- Experience with Canva
- Intermediate proficiency (with demonstrated ability) in Microsoft Office applications, Web/Internet/e-mail technologies, and general computing technology
