Mandarin Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist who is fluent in Mandarin to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential HR support and guidance to our organization. You will collaborate closely with management to align HR initiatives with business goals and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition: job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding for various positions within the organization.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing guidance on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Performance Management: Manage the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees on setting goals, conducting evaluations, and addressing performance issues.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including employee surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
  • HR administration: Payroll, timecard management, insurance enrollment, warning letters, termination processes, required reportings, document management, process optimization, etc.
  • Office administration: Purchases, payment applications, service provider engagement and communications as needed by the office.
  • Internal and external coordination: Response to and communication with other departments and the management within the group, service providers, government agencies and other parties that are involved in HR and office administration.
  • Support and ownership of other tasks and responsibilities that may be communicated by the management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, I/O Psychology or HR certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on strategic HR business partnering.
  • Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Mandarin verbal and written proficiency required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
