Weekend Volunteer Opportunities - Make a Difference for People with Disabilities
The Arc Minnesota and their Arc's Value Village Thrift Stores need volunteers to keep our stores stocked and ready for customers! Arc’s Value Village thrift stores have one-time and on-going volunteer opportunities with flexible hours—days, evenings and weekends, 7 days a week! Volunteer shifts are 2 hours in length and scheduling is flexible. You determine when, where and how often to volunteer.
Volunteers at Arc's Value Village unpack, sort and price donations like clothing, accessories, household items, books, toys, jewelry, etc. Volunteers also hang and tag clothing, price sticker hard goods and stock merchandise on the sales floor.
Arc’s Value Village thrift stores have 3 locations; New Hope, Richfield and Bloomington. To learn more or to sign up for a shift at one of our stores, visit http://www.arcsvaluevillage.org/volunteer or contact Michelle Theisen at michelletheisen@arcminnesota.org or 952-915-3670 for assistance.
Arc’s Value Village thrift stores are a revenue generating & public awareness vehicle for The Arc Minnesota, a statewide nonprofit organization that works to promote and protect the human rights of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc helps people navigate systems while working to advance social change centered in justice, equity and belonging in community.
