The Alliance for Citizen Engagement (ACE)  is a trusted, national, nonprofit, think tank driven by the next generation of policy researchers. We combat political polarization by publishing nonpartisan, unbiased Research Briefs on our platform. ACE is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.

Job Description: ACE PR Interns are an essential part of ACE's mission to combat political polarization. We are seeking students with an interest in Public Relations to work with our ACE Leadership Team this Spring semester on the building and execution of ACE’s PR strategy.  

This internship offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in public relations within the non-profit sector.

Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation: Write and publish engaging and informative posts on platforms like Reddit that align with the ACE's voice and marketing goals.
  2. Content Development: Write and curate engaging, informative, and relevant content for the ACE's weekly newsletter, ensuring it aligns with the our voice and brand messaging.
  3. Partnership Development: Develop and implement outreach strategies to connect with potential partners, including drafting personalized emails and crafting compelling pitches.
  4. Media Relations: Draft press releases, initiate outreach, and manage communications with media outlets to promote and secure coverage for our research briefs.
  5. Communication Outreach: Develop and implement strategies for regular communication with ACE alumni through newsletters, emails, and social media.
