The Clinician is responsible for focusing on the provision of mental health treatment and prevention services to referred and assigned clients and their families and meet appropriate criteria. These individuals are experiencing behavioral and/or mental health issues in the school, home, and/or community settings and have been brought to the attention primarily by school personnel. The clinician serves as a clinical advocate for clients (and their families) and makes recommendations for mental health support services needed, while actively working collaboratively with community resources and referral sources. 

Qualifications:

  • Valid registration or licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (ACSW, AMFT, LCSW, LMFT, APCC, LPCC)
  • Prior mental health service experience strongly preferred
  • Prior DMH mental health experience preferred
  • Word Processing; Excellent Writing Skills, General Office Skills; Typing of 50 WPM
  • Bi-Lingual (Spanish) highly preferred
  • Must pass pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screening
