Human Resource Intern - Summer 2025

This internship is a 12-week internship, during the Summer 2025 semester, taking place from May to August. Application review and interview process will take place during the Fall 24 and Spring 25 Semester.

The HR intern will work closely with members of the Human Resources team to provide administrative support and gain well-rounded, hands-on experience in the following areas; talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Team in all recruitment processes; create job postings, assist with talent sourcing projects, review applications, contact candidates, schedule interviews, conduct phone screens and communicate directly with hiring managers.
  • Assist in the performance management process, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), gather performance data, coach managers, draft PIP documents, and observe follow-up steps such as check-ins and progress reviews.
  • Assist in the annual performance review cycle by preparing and rolling out performance reviews.
  • Provide assistance with the onboarding process of all new hires and provide feedback to help improve the process.
  • Collaborate with HR team to answer various employee questions related to policies, programs and general needs.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify training needs.
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Education and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA in major
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High level of energy, drive, initiative and commitment
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
