Community Relations Analyst

Work Hours: 40+ hours / week: M - F

About the Role: Leads KUB’s community outreach initiatives through planning, developing, scheduling, and executing special events, volunteer programs, public speaking, and educational engagements. Records, examines, and measures effectiveness of outreach efforts and modifies programming as needed to meet objectives. Positively represents KUB on nonprofit and community-based organization boards and committees. Establishes and maintains relationships with community stakeholders.
Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or another related field
- Possesses project management, organization, and project execution skills
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills with ability and desire to work with diverse groups
- Completes accurate and high-quality work with strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Windows environment and MS products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Access) and web-based software
- Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
Preferred Requirements:
- Three (3)+ years of related work experience
- Experience and/or interest performing work related to volunteer coordination and/or corporate/community event planning
- Experience developing and tracking data and metrics to demonstrate the success of programs
- Proven track record in community support solicitation for events, programs, and initiatives
