Graduate Assistant - Teaching & Learning Center

This position in the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) provides graduate students with the opportunity to work closely with instructional designers and faculty members while gaining experience in teaching, research, and program administration. The GA (Graduate Assistant) will assist faculty in building and updating course sites, developing course materials, and troubleshooting instructional technology issues. The GA will also provide research and administrative support for TLC initiatives. This may include conducting research on identified topics, analyzing program information, developing and editing content for websites, editing multimedia, and supporting event coordination. Applicants should be detail-oriented and comfortable learning new technology. Experience taking online or hybrid courses is a plus but not required. Opportunity for the position to expand through the 2025-2026 academic year.

Requirements:   

  • Must be a full-time Graduate Student at West Chester University (9 credits or more for the semester)
  • Must commit to 15-20 hours per week
  • Part-time or Full-time Summer hours may be available
  • Must be able to work on-site as needed
