As a Job Coach, you will:
- Work alongside adults who have developmental and intellectual disabilities at their place of employment in the community, assisting them to be successful at work!
- Assist individuals with problem solving, decision making, on-the-job safety, and meeting their job expectations
- Enjoy learning the ins and outs of different industries? Individuals supported work in settings ranging from retail to food service and beyond
- Manage a caseload of clients - maintaining communication with care team members, completing log and data notes, and participating in care team meetings
- Support individuals using person-centered strategies in order to help people achieve goals and self-advocate

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday daytime hours approximately 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (full-time, 40 hours per week). No nights, no weekends.

Requirements:
- No experience necessary. All training is provided
- Comfortable working independently at community businesses most of the time
- Use of a personal vehicle is required for daily travel between work sites. Mileage reimbursement is provided
- Must be comfortable working at different locations and environments throughout the week (i.e. office setting, commercial kitchen, hospital). Working location/environment is determined by where clients are employed. All locations are within the Twin Cities/West Metro area
- Multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
- Must be able to pass a background study with the MN Department of Human Services
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years
- Must be able to regularly push/pull/lift 25-50 pounds
- Ability and willingness to assist individuals with activities of daily living
- Ability or willingness to learn basic computer and technology skills
