This position involves teaching grades 6-8, covering Ancient Civilizations, World History, and U.S. History. What You'll Do:

- Teach grades 6-8 history, engaging students with thoughtfully designed lessons that align with grade-level standards.

- Develop and implement a creative, teacher-designed curriculum, providing opportunities for hands-on learning and critical thinking.

- Foster a positive classroom environment that nurtures the unique developmental needs of middle school students.

- Implement strong classroom management strategies to support a productive and inclusive learning environment.

- Collaborate with a supportive school community that values growth, connection, and student success.

Who You Are:

- A history enthusiast with deep subject matter knowledge and the ability to make history come alive for students.

- Experienced in teaching K-12 history, with a focus on middle school grades.

- Skilled in understanding the social and emotional development of middle schoolers, balancing empathy with effective classroom management.

- Patient, energetic, and organized, with a natural rapport with middle school-aged children.
