Arts and Crafts and Woodworking Counselors

Camp Moosilauke Arts and Crafts and Woodworking  Counselor Positions

Camp Moosilauke is looking for an individual with general art  and/or carpentry/woodworking experience.  Must be able to create art and/or woodworking projects with children ages 8-15.

Arts and Crafts and Wood shop counselors have the following responsibilities: planning and constructing basic arts and crafts and wood shop projects for children to build; teaching campers proper use of tools and wood shop safety protocols; overseeing and assisting campers as they create art or wood shop projects, and maintaining the arts and crafts and  wood shop areas.

General Camp responsibilities include cabin and hill responsibilities and assignments related to special events.

-The ability to teach art and woodworking skills.

-The ability to select age-appropriate and engaging projects for campers, and to create samples of each project.

-A genuine enthusiasm for teaching children art and woodworking skills.

Camp Moosilauke is ranked in the top twenty camps in America. Our camp is located on a beautiful lake in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We offer all land sports including baseball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and ultimate frisbee. Our water sport positions include kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, rowing, swimming, fishing, canoeing, and water-skiing. The Camp Moosilauke tripping program includes mountain-biking, rock climbing, canoeing and hiking. We have a coed staff.  

The dates are June 11 through August 9. We offer a competitive salary range of $2,500-$2,750 with free room and board.
